CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT

In early 2024, Yindjibarndi Water undertook comprehensive cultural engagement with Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation (YAC) to reaffirm the cultural importance of Millstream to the Yindjibarndi People, in light of the public water supply demands.

The protection of cultural sites was then aligned with the scientifically based assessment to determine the long term sustainable abstraction from Millstream.
